Following are the Faculty Members:

 

Vid. REKHA PRASAD - A M.Sc graduate with a Vidwat in Karnatic Vocal Music. She has been teaching Karnatic Vocal in Poorvi Sangeeth Academy since 2013. She has a teaching experience of 20 years. She has also taught Music in various schools. She is also a B High Artist in AIR, Bangalore. She is also a Trustee of the Academy.

 

 

                             

Vid. REKHA HARINATH - A Vidwat in Karnatic Vocal. She has more than 20 years of experience in teaching Karnatic Vocal Music. She is also a B High Artist of AIR, Bangalore. She has been teaching Karnatic Vocal in Poorvi Sangeeth Academy since 2014.

 

 

 

 

Vid. SANGEETA BHATKAL, a Vidwat in Hindustani Vocal, has been teaching Hindustani Vocal for more than 20 years. She is at present also teaching Music in a reputed school in Bangalore. She has been teaching Hindustani Vocal in Poorvi Sangeeth Academy since 2015.

 

 

 

 

Smt. PRATIBHA NANDAN, a B.Sc graduate, having learnt both Karnatic & Hindustani Classical Vocal, has also learnt Sugama Sangeetha from Sri. S Somasundaram. She has been teaching Sugama Sangeetha in Poorvi Sangeeth Academy since 2013. She is also the Treasurer of Poorvi Sangeeth Academy.

 

 

 

  Vid. HIREMAGALURU PRADEEP, a B.E. graduate, having learnt Karnatic Classical Vocal from Late Vid. Terakoti Chandrashekaraiah & Sugama Sangeetha from Sri. S Somasundaram. He is also learning western keyboard from Sri. Suyamindra. He is teaching Sugama Sangeetha & Keyboard- both Indian & Western in Poorvi Sangeeth Academy since 2014. He is also the Managing Trustee of the Academy.

   

 

 

Vid. SHARAN KUMAR HUGAR, has learnt Tabla from the famous Puttaraj Gawai school of music. He is having more than 25 years of teaching experience in Tabla. He has been teaching in the Poorvi Sangeeth Academy since 2015. He is also teaching faculty in various other institutes.

 

 

 

 

 

Vis. S. SHASHIDHAR, BSc & M.A(Eng), has served Canara Bank for more than 35 years. He is also BA in Music from Bangalore University. After taking voluntary retirement from Banking services, he is now full time into music and has been teaching Karnatic Violin in the Academy since 2014.

 

 

 

 

Sri. M R SHIVAKUMAR SWAMY, a diploma in Civil Engg., took to Guitar having a passion for the same. He has passed Grade 6 exams of Univ of West London college of Music. He is a faculty in Poorvi Sangeeth Academy since 2015. He is also a faculty in various other reputed institutes.

 

 

Vid. NIVEDITA SHARMA, has MA in Fine Arts after having learnt Bharatanatya  under the the able guidance of Prof M.R.Krishnamurthy at the Kalakshithi School of fine arts, Bangalore. She has also passed junior, senior and vidwat examination in dance conducted by the Karnataka state secondary examination board securing first class in all. She has been teaching Bharatanatya in Poorvi Sangeeth Academy since 2014. She has also been teaching Dance in various other institutes.
